Post and Rail Garden Bridges

Following is a sampling of our post and rail garden bridges. These foot bridges are assembled with galvanized hardware to prevent rust and are strong enough to hold up to 400 lbs. We can custom design a post and rail garden bridge up to 30 ft length with double or single rails and your choice of round, flat or gothic caps (see below) for the same low price. We can weather treat or stain the bridges if needed.

10 Foot Post and Rail Bridge with Mortised Posts This 10 foot post and rail bridge is built from Western Red Cedar with mortised posts and handrails with a Spar Urathen clear coat finish. It is 10 ft long and 3 ft wide and will hold 500lbs. The cost is 1299.00 plus 350.00 shipping partly assembed through motor freight.

30 foot Post and Rail Bridge This post and rail bridge actually covers about 34 ft but will span just over 30 ft. The support beams were made from two 16 foot long 2 x 12's and making them into one long beam by using metal finger joints then an inside lap joint with an 8 ft long 2 x 12 and timber connectors between them. There is also an outside lap joint on the outside of the beam and 10 stainless steel bolts to hold it together along with constuction adhesive.
