Picnic Table with Umbrella

This Red Cedar picnic table has a 4 x 4 for the center support and a 5" square by 1 1/2" thick board on the top at the center and secured to the table top with wood screws and glued then the hole for umbrella was drilled through that and the table top and then through the 4x4. It holds that big umbrella even in the wind.
